Dan was the featured saxophone player the NYC cast of the
smash
off broadway musical "Love, Janis".
Dan also served 3 years in the United States Army Band splitting his
tour of
duty with the 26th Army Band at Fort Wadsworth in Staten Island New
York, and The Army Band of NYC at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn New York.
In addition
to his live performance work, Dan is an accomplished studio musician on
hundreds of recordings. He has performed on The
Late Show with David Letterman, The Today Show,
The
Nascar Awards, and The Lucie Awards.
Dan is the featured sax
player
with Wilson Pickett in the soul and r&b documentary by "Miramax
Films" called "Only The Strong Survive" directed by DA
Pennebaker. Dan also appears in the movie Poliwood performing with Sting directed by Barry Levinson. He arranged and performed on the soundtrack for the Orion
Pictures movie "Beer" directed by Patrick Kelly as well as many independent films. Dan has also recorded dozens of
soundtracks for radio and television shows including The
Guiding Light, As
the
World Turns, and All
My
Children.
Some of the jingles Dan has performed on include Wendys, The United
Way, Pringles Potato Chips, Goya Beans, D&L Department Stores,
and
Mike Bloomberg's polictical campaign.

the world. Dan's

musical styles also. He plays all the Saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone),
Flute,
Alto Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and Keyboards. Dan is highly skilled
in performing in styles ranging
from r&b, rock and jazz, to classical.
